GDPR Policy
An explanation on how, why I collect & use your information, when you purchase something made by me.
Introduction
I am your ‘Data Controller’ which means there’s only me, no admin team or anything, just me, myself & I oh & Holly Spots & the Damn cats of course. If I sell an original creation this is done via a contact form on my website, email, Facebook, Instagram or PayPal.
I do not have a mailing list.
Information Collected
To fulfil your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorized Facebook, Instagra &, PayPal to provide to me), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for a bespoke creation for example), if you contact me directly.
How I use your information
Basically, the information is needed to get your purchase to you and payment from you. This is all done via PayPal.  I use Royal mail to post my parcels, and only use your name and address to complete your order, to be delivered to your place of residence.
Keeping your data
I only keep your information for the period of time it takes to complete your order. I do not download or store this information myself, it is held on the PayPal, Etsy or Facebook system.
Sharing your information
I do not share your information with third parties unless legally required to do so, e.g., HMRC.
Your choices and rights
You have the right to know what information I hold about you, to correct that information & to request that the information be deleted. You have the right to restrict how that information is used and shared. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority if you think your data has been collected/used or shared inappropriately. In the UK this is the ICO (ico.org.uk).
